Palma de Mallorca Airport is an airport located approximately 8 km east of Palma de Mallorca, adjacent to the village C'an Pastilla. Previously known as Son Sant Joan Airport, it is the third largest airport in Spain, after Madrid Barajas International Airport and Barcelona International Airport. During the summer months it is one of the busiest airports in Europe. The airport is a hub for German carrier airberlin.
