 The rates quoted are weekly rates, but the rental can be for less than a week.
The minimum rental is 3 days.

Reservations must be received no less than 72 hours in advance of your arrival time to guarantee a confirmed booking.

| Extra Options |
| |
Baby seat: 3.5 € per day. Maximum charge 42 € per rental. In Majorca we ask a deposit of 30 €. If the baby seat is returned in the same condition as supplied we refund the deposit charged. For security reasons, baby seats must be fitted by the parent or guardian.

All additional drivers: 2.5 €/driver/day.
Maximum charge: 25 €/rental.
Maximum: 3 additional drivers per contract.

A minimum charge of 40 € will be applied if the returned car requires extra special cleaning.

| Insurance |
| |
The insurance is fully comprehensive, but replacement keys, undercarriage, traffic fines, all expenses and costs that arise from refueling with the incorrect fuel and tyres or wheels are not covered under insurance. In case of damage the hirer is liable for such items.All thefts must be reported to the police and a copy of the report obtained.Personal effects cover is not included and we recommend our clients to ensure that these are covered by their travel insurance. If clients load the car with more than the stated capacity or vehicles are taken "off-road" or drivers are found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the insurance cover becomes invalid.

We offer customers an optional protection, to be paid on arrival, to reduce their liability to wheels and tyres and windows of the cars. Towing costs or any other expenses are not covered under this insurance. If the customer declines this insurance he will be liable for damages caused to tyres, wheels and windows.

| FUEL POLICY |
| |
Vehicles are delivered with a full tank of petrol which must be prepaid when picking up the car (according to supplied model) and should be returned empty.
Please, be aware that NO refunds will be made for unused fuel. |

Only for bookings of 3 days or less: We reimburse the client's credit card with the equivalent value of the fuel left in the tank. Customers do not have to refill the tank and return it FULL of fuel, they have to return the vehicle with the fuel NOT used.

We wait for the client in the arrival hall with a name board.
We provide the client with a car from our office (Goldcar minivan) situated at the public parking (second floor) on parking lot 343.

OUT OF HOURS DROP OFF
No charge for out of hours drop off.

| Age Limits |
| |
Drivers must be over 21 years and have held a driving licence (international driving license) for a minimum of 12 months.
|
| |
Drivers who are under 25 will have to pay a surcharge of 3 € per day with a maximum charge of 42 € per rental.The customers who are 25 will not pay this surcharge.
|
| |
The customers who have held the driving license for less than 4 years will also have to pay a fee of 3 € per day with a maximum charge of 42 € per rental.
|
| |
No maximum age restriction or surcharge.
|
| |
Drivers must be in possession of a valid credit card (Master Card, VISA Card or EC Card) or debit card. American Express Cards are not accepted.
No cash payment accepted either.

| One-way rentals |
| |
A charge of 25.00 Euros for all one-way rentals of less than 7 days. Rentals of 7 days or longer are free of charge.
All groups can be used for one-way rentals.
One way rentals: minimum rental 3 days.

| Cross Border Policy |
| |
Cars can be driven only to Portugal and Gibraltar(only for clients who arrive at Almeria, Granada, Malaga, Jerez or Seville airport) for an additional insurance of 8 €/day with a maximum charge of 50 €/rental.
Clients arriving at Gerona or Reus airport are allowed to drive into the south of France and Andorra.
They will be charged an additional insurance of 8 €/day with a maximum charge of 50 €/rental.
Cars can be driven from Majorca to other Balearic Islands for an additional insurance of 8 €/day with a maximum charge of 50 €/rental.
Please note that all the above additional insurance charges apply to the entire rental periods, not just to the days when cars are taken to other countries or islands.
Clients are not allowed to drive GoldCar cars to other foreign countries.

ALL TAXES & AIRPORT FEES
All our rates include the 5% VAT (called IGIC) that is applicable in the Canary Islands as well as local airport fees.

UNLIMITED MILEAGE
All our rates include unlimited mileage.

INSURANCE
All our rates include Fully Comprehensive Insurance with no excess/deductible, and Personal Accident Insurance.

24 HOURS ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
Goldcar rental provides the clients with 24 hour roadside assistance included in the rates. In the event that a client has an accident or a breakdown, they can contact us 24 hours per day on the Emergency telephone number: 902 105 276

| What is not included? |

ROOF RACK
Roof racks are not available.
|
| |
FUEL
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be returned empty. The cost of the fuel will be charged at the time of rental. (40 € - 100 €)

DELIVERIES
All vehicles must be collected & returned to the respective airport locations; no collections or deliveries will be possible on either island. The cars must be always returned to the airport of collection. Cars cannot be returned to Tenerife North airport.

BOOSTER SEATS AND MAXICOSY
You can request booster seats (1-3 years) and Maxicosy (2-9 months), both for 3.5 € per day.Maximum charge 42 € per rental.

LOST KEYS, DAMAGE TO TYRES/WHEELS
Please, be aware that lost keys or damage to tyres, wheels, undercarriage and interior of the car are not covered by insurance. In case of damage, the hirer is liable for such items.

LUXURY GROUP EXCESS
Vehicles from the luxury group have an excess of 1500 €, this only applies for Luxury Group rentals.

WHEELS / TYRES INSURANCE

Collections after 23.00 are on request and possible at an additional local charge of 30 € Tax included per car. Flight number is essential.

CROSS BORDER POLICY
Cars are not allowed to be taken out of the islands.
Cars can only be taken to other islands whithin the Canary Island with an additional insurance of 8 €/day for the entire rental period.

DRIVER’S LICENCE
All drivers must present a valid driving licence held for at least 12 months.

DRIVER AGE
The minimum age for a driver is 21 years.

LATE RETURN
Late Return will be penalised: 20 €/day + daily rental rate (if not properly extended).

EXTRA CLEANING CHARGE
An extra charge will be applied if special cleaning of the car is required (minimum charge of 40 €).
